I grew up learning carnatic music and for the longest time trained passionately to become a full-time musician. Along the way I was introduced to Hindusthani music. Music & art are passionate subjects to me. I see art in everything - from the clothes we wear to the places we travel. I enjoy understanding people from their culture. I love handwoven fabrics, home decor and jewellery. I seek a story in all of these and mirror these inspirations through my music when I have the chance to do so.
